A Thrilling and Gothic Antique Bracelet set with graduated Skulls in Sterling Silver.
There are five skulls, each one carefully crafted, measuring 23mm deep.
These are interspersed with five smaller skulls measuring 15mm deep.
The Skull is the seat of our wisdom and our power to think. It reminds us of our mortality and the impermanence of life. (Memento Mori). In alchemy, the skull represents the receptacle used in the process of transformation. Very popular in the 16^th and 17^th Centuries.
They are linked together with strong ‘handles’ attached to the skulls.
The catch is a simple and effective rod and loop system.

There are 53 large Pearls in all, each with a diameter of 7 to 8mm.
They are mostly spherical with several baroque Pearls, and are linked with sturdy silver wire.
They are set on a base of Sterling Silver hoops which are strong and flexible.
The internal diameter is 2 ¼ inches, giving a circumference of approx. 7 inches.
As the bangle is open and flexible, it will accommodate virtually all sizes of wrist.
Ideal for weddings, and suitable for all types of people and ages.

A Distinctive and Beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Open Bangle.
The centre is lightly Hand engraved with four sets of Ivy leaves. During Victorian times, the Ivy leaf represented wedded Love, Permanency and Fidelity.

The rest is expertly hammered to form a distinctive and unusual patterning.

A Beautiful and Unique fully Engraved Sterling Silver Bangle by Charles Horner.
Items by Charles Horner are much sought after and very collectible. 
It is stamped ‘C.H.’ inside and it was assayed in Chester in 1947. 
The Chester Assay Office closed in the early sixties, so Chester hallmarks are also very desirable and collectible.
The Bangle is beautifully Engraved all the way round with swirls and foliate patterns. 
It is sprung so that the catch clips and unclips with pressure on one side.
It is just over 2 inches in diameter, which means that it would ideally fit wrists up to6 ½  inches in circumference. 
This would also make a Special Christening present. A Good Investment.

This is a Unique, Very Interesting and Attractive Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet.
It contains 17 individual Charms. Each is different and many have working parts.
There is a well with a moving bucket; a fan which opens; an elephant with trunk raised (for good luck); a spinning wheel with moving wheel; a swan which opens up; a steam traction engine with moving wheels; book with cross, bull, scarecrow with moving parts, poodle, dancer, and, as a later addition, Concorde with a hinged nose, souvenirs etc., etc.
They are on a strong solid Silver twist chain, and with a heart padlock fitting.
There is also a safety chain for Extra Security when wearing. (although I believe this would be impossible to lose!)
The weight is 101 grams of Sterling Silver.

An Impressive and very Attractive Chunky Art Deco Quality Bangle from c.1920.
There are four straight edges, each measuring one inch, and four edges which are slightly concave (curved inward).
The inside is perfectly smooth and oval in shape for comfort when wearing.
The clasp is a secure push fit, with a locking catch as an additional security measure.
The internal measurements are 64mm. by 54mm. giving a circumference of approx. 187 mm. or 7 -7 ½ inches. It is ½ inch wide.

A Beautiful and Unique Antique Silver Bangle made in the shape of a Waistcoat or Corset.
It is shaped with curves and fully engraved with a floral leaf pattern. 
There are three round ‘buttons’ in the centre, with millepoint stitching to the sides.
The rear half is plain and it opens with a push catch. 
The hinge is in excellent condition, (as is the whole Bangle), and closes with a firm click. 
The internal diameter is approx. 2 ¼ inches by 2 inches, giving a circumference of 6 ½ - 7 inches. The width is 28mm. (top of the corset) and 28mm at the back.

The Bracelet itself is a simple multi link which is smooth and slightly convex for maximum comfort when wearing.
It measures 7 ½  inches, by 14mm. wide, and has two open loops at the ends.
These loops slip over the sprung ‘arm’ of the padlock which clicks into place securely and firmly for security when wearing.
The Padlock itself is an ornate design on both sides, engraved with patterns and leaves and is slightly concave on both sides.

It is fully engraved and embossed all the way around with stems leaves and flowers in a masterful and skilful design.
The fastening system is modelled on a belt. The belt stud is at the end of the bangle. There are four keyhole-shaped apertures. The stud fits into these.
This ingenious method means that the Bangle will fit a variety of wrist sizes from approx. 6 inches to 8 inches. It is one inch wide.
It has a rare and sought after hallmark – Chester – and the date of assay 1945 –the celebratory year that the second World War ended.
