RARE ANTIQUE GOLD PERIDOT TRILOGY RING

A Striking and Beautiful Antique Gold Trilogy Ring set with three Quality Peridots.
They are all a deep Olive Green, and cut ‘en cabochon’ –the centre one being oval, raised, and over one carat; and the two either side being pendeloque totalling a further carat. That is over two Carats of Quality Peridot.
(Peridots are at the top of the semi-precious range of Stones. They were very popular in Victorian times, often referred to as ‘Olivines’ – a reference to their attractive colour.

Peridot was sometimes used in Religious Jewellery. The Crusaders brought Peridot to Europe in the early Middle Ages, transporting Stones from St. John’s Island in the Red Sea, where it has been mined for over 3,500 years!)

They are all collet set for maximum comfort when wearing, and surrounded by a black enamel highlight, with a shaped Antique Yellow Gold mount.

A Beautiful and Rare Quality Antique Gold Ring featuring a Hand-Painted Miniature Portrait.
The portrait has been done with great skill on porcelain. The woman is dressed in what appears Dutch or central European clothing of 18^th or 19^th century.
The painting has been very finely done, with facial details, hair etc., done with great precision and craftsmanship, and partly outlined in gold paint.
On a pink background, the colours are very realistic and life-like.
It is set in an oval mount with rope-twist edging, and raised slightly with split shoulders. It measures 19mm. by 14mm.

This Delightful and Characterful Georgian Marquise Ring has a cabochon Turquoise in the centre.
This is surrounded by hand-cut white stones, probably Georgian paste, which are mounted in white Gold in a fine, intricate pierced gallery. 
There are also Hand-cut stones in the shoulders and a Rose Gold band. 
In very good condition, this is a Gorgeous Georgian characterful Ring.
