A Poignant and beautifully made Quality Memorial Ring set with hand-cut Diamonds in High Carat Gold.
Mourning, or memento mori rings, were often bequeathed in wills to close friends and family to be worn at the funeral and as a reminder to the wearer of the departed.
Unusually, this is set with Diamonds. The centre Diamond measures ¼ carat and is masterfully hand-cut with multiple facets.
It is mounted in the centre of an eight pointed star, which contains ten more hand-cut graduated Diamonds. 
The Diamond star is set in black enamel, on a shank of high carat yellow Gold.
There are inscriptions in the interior. There is an inscription which is too worn to read and a date of ‘March 26^th 1866’ and a further inscription saying ‘Mother February 10^th 1906’.
So this Ring was used over two generations, and possibly a generation before 1866, making this a Georgian Ring.
This Quality Ring is in Excellent Condition.
The Ring size is L ¾  (UK) and 6 ¼   (USA), and it could be re-sized by a working Jeweller (though this would affect some of the inscription inside the ring.)

A Dazzling and Beautiful Quality Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Ring set in 18 carat White Gold.
At the centre, there is a square-cut Emerald of ¾ carat weight.
On either side of the Emerald, there are two very Clean baguette Diamonds in a millepoint setting.
Above and below the Emerald, there are two larger brilliant-cut Diamonds of Excellent Quality, Clear (S1/S2) and White (G-J) with eight more smaller Sparkling Diamonds making up the attractive cut away ‘corners’ of the mount.
The shoulders have six more superb square-cut Clear Diamonds inset into the shank.
The Total Diamond content is approx. One carat weight.
The shank is substantial 18 carat White Gold.
