A Fascinating and Beautiful Antique Snake hand-carved in dark brown Hardwood!
The detail of the Snake is Superb, with genuine black Agate eyes.
It is looped around in a knot pattern, and the features and scales are clearly carved.
Serpentine ornaments and jewellery were very popular in the 19^th century.
This was used as a Netsuke - a small Japanese carved ornament, once used to fasten small objects (e.g. a purse or pouch for tobacco, medicines etc.) to a sash, worn round the waist, in traditional costume.
Even the underside is clearly carved and contains the small holes for tying on.
This Snake sits perfectly with a amiable smile and a benign countenance!
Ideal as an ornament or Special Gift.

A Very Unusual And Beautiful genuine Art Nouveau chatelaine clip!
At the top, there is a flat, marquise shaped ‘plate’ (for insertion into a top pocket?) It is stamped ‘patent’
There are three large, and three small, links which are embossed and moulded into flowers and leaf shapes from the Art Nouveau period.
Below this, is the ‘Gripper’.
It is operated by a lever, which pushes up and squeezes the two circular pads together. It has ‘esigrip’ stamped on it.
This could be used to hold papers or an identity tag, etc.
A very attractive way of displaying your name tag!
Alternatively, the 2 end parts could be taken off, as the floral Art Nouveau pieces would make a really Unique choker, just by attaching some velvet.
It is in a silver metal, hangs 8 ¼ inches in total, and is in Excellent Condition.

A Fine letter-opener with a handle in the shape of a set of Golf Clubs!
The handle is formed by a bag with Golf Clubs in it.
 It is very finely engraved, and the texture of the bag and stitching on the carrier handle is clearly visible.

A Most Unusual Brooch or Badge that would appeal to a Collector!
It is from a Bygone era (pre-perestroika) and features the head of Lenin in white enamel.
The background is red enamel, and there is an Industrial scene to one side in blue Enamel.
Below this are various words in Russian – probably referring to Communism, and below that, the Hammer and Sickle which is the emblem of the Communist Party.

This superb Compact features a Wedgwood Pottery theme. There are three women in diaphanous gowns embossed on to the front.
One of the woman is Diana the Huntress – she is sitting down, holding a bow under one arm and an arrow in the other.
One of the other women is touching the point of the arrow, and the third woman has her arm around her protectively.
With a good sprung catch, the Compact opens to reveal a fine, clear bevelled mirror. On the opposite side the hinged frame lifts up to reveal the powder chamber, with the original gauze.
It has a patent number, and on the back it is inscribed ‘Stratton. England’.
This Lovely item comes in the original pouch, and is in first-class condition.
It measures approx. 3 ½ inches across.

A Beautiful and finely Hand-Painted Perfume bottle.
The ‘inner’ bottle is hand-painted with different scenes on both sides.
One side features a traditional Japanese House with men fishing on a lake. There is a waterfall, fruit-bearing trees and mountains in the background. On the reverse side, there are three men in discussion, a bridge of stone over a river, trees, and mountains in the background. This is Skilled and Beautiful Artwork.
This is fixed into the ‘outer’ bottle which is convex on one side and flat on the other. The dome shaped top is in Amber, and has a soft ‘cork’ which fits firmly as a stopper.
A Work of Art showing great craftsmanship, it has its own original cushioned box, hand-painted on cotton.
The bottle measures 3 ¼ inches by just over 1 ½ inches, and is in Excellent Condition.

This is an Adorable free-standing Dog, made entirely from Hand-carved Amber.

This adorable Dog has lots of Character, with long droopy ears and jowls, and a short stubby tail. It looks like a St. Bernard Dog. Its features all Hand-Carved.
